Have you been thinking about facilitating the EI?
Enlightenment Intensive (EI) is a unique retreat that enables a spiritual enlightenment experience (satori) within a short time. You can read more about the process HERE.
If you would like to join us as a staff member for one of our upcoming EI’s or to begin your carreer path as EI professional, the following pages are for you.
Core Values
There are various roles one can take on during the Enlightenment Intensive. They all share one common purpose. To engage in one of the most helpful actions one human being can do for another: creating a safe space for participants, so they feel supported to enquire authentically into Who they are, without masks and conditionings.
To achieve this, a unique set of personal and professional skills is required, along with a high level of personal development. Additionally, it is essential to work harmoniously according to the assigned role requirements and in tune with the entire EI team.
Being part of this process and witnessing the transformation happening in participants is one of the most rewarding and enriching privileges one can experience.
Prerequisites
The general requirements to enter the staff training for Enlightenment Intensive (EI) retreats involves:
Staff Positions
SILENT MONITORS are beginners who learns by observing and may participate in dyads to balance numbers. They familiarize themselves with practical procedures, run errands, report infractions and support the other team members.
MONITORS interact with participants, reminding them of rules with positive instructions and reporting technique errors to Senior monitors or the Master. They support and encourage participants without giving advice. Continuous learning is part of the role,
CHIEF MONITORS handle the physical aspect of the retreat, ensuring a smooth operation from preparation to cleanup. They manage scheduling, delegate tasks, resolve logistical issues, maintain communication with support staff and meticulously manage tasks to free the senior monitors and masters from distractions.
SENIOR MONITORS accompany participants in their self-discovery process, fostering a supportive environment. They work closely with the Master to ensure effective use of the Enlightenment Technique. They correct errors, coordinate assignments and maintain communication to track participants progress and process integrity.
MAIN GUIDE/ MASTER leads the group and takes overall responsibility for the Intensive Process. He/she ‘holds the space’ for the participants, guiding them as they go through their process and helps them face whatever they have to go through in order to have their enlightenment experience.
CREW SUPPORT: helpers who don’t take a direct role in the EI process, yet they support its smooth running. These are kitchen and cleaning staff, chief monitor assistants as well as facilitators of specialized activities (guided walks, breathwork, conscious movement, etc.)
RESEARCH & SCIENCE: We are particularly interested in collaborating with mental health practitioners and researchers in psychology and neuroscience to conduct the continuous refinement of the EI process, the development of a code of ethics and the collection and validation of data related to the process and its effects.

Why We Do This
In our perception, the EI process is a highly efficient tool to connect to ones Essential Self, without implanting in the participants mind any kind of belief or construct.
We highly appreciate this process for its stunning results on a spiritual level, yet with a rare independence from any religion or philosophy.
Our mission is to maintain the integrity of the EI process, offering the highest standards of support for participants, and to ensure that these values are upheld in our training of future facilitators.
We are actively engaging in our own continuous development while striving to evolve the professionalism of the EI, by embracing the latest research and findings.
